چکیده

The estimation and mapping of water yield are significant importance to the effective planning management resources in Mongolia. In this study, we quantified assessed Upper Tuul River basin using Integrated Valuation Ecosystem Services Tradeoffs (InVEST) Water model. study aimed test whether it is possible estimate selected research area required input data included land use cover, mean annual precipitation potential evapotranspiration, soil depth, plant available content. addition, those were obtained from Landsat 8, Climate Hazards Group Infrared Precipitation with Station (CHIRPS), MODIS Global Terrestrial Evapotranspiration Product (MOD16), International Soil Reference Information Centre (ISRIC) database. Finally, generated spatial distribution maps, namely, actual evapotranspiration (mm), volume (km3) by pixel within area. According modelling results, estimated value for was 295.08 mm, 827.09 mm respectively 229.13 average 55.89 0.43 km3 result slightly higher (15.1 mm) terms compared results previous studies, conducted same area, found that has also been impacted. However, InVEST (Water Yield) model can be used future studies concerning resource river basins as further improve in-situ measurement satellite products high accuracy data.

River Flow Simulation Using SWAT Physically Based Model in Barandouzchay of Urmia Lake River Basin

Nowadays, there are too many models in the world for simulation of hydrological processes, such as the SWAT physically based model. The SWAT model is a continuous and physically based hydrologic model that is the smallest unit in this model is Hydrologic Response Unit, and all hydrological processes are simulated in each of these units. This model can simulate runoff, sedimentation, erosion and...

Runoff Simulation in the Upper Reaches of Heihe River Basin Based on the RIEMS–SWAT Model

In the distributed hydrological simulations for complex mountain areas, large amounts of meteorological input parameters with high spatial and temporal resolutions are necessary. However, the extreme scarcity and uneven distribution of the traditional meteorological observation stations in cold and arid regions of Northwest China makes it very difficult in meeting the requirements of hydrologic...

An Integrated Hydrological Model for Water Balance Estimation in the Chirchik River Basin, Northern Uzbekistan

Accurate and detailed information of hydrological balance, and its dynamic nature is needed to develop strategies for sustainable use and management of water resources. In this concern, a fully integrated MIKE SHE model was developed to study the hydrological balance of the Chirchik River Basin, Uzbekistan. Parameters in the model were calibrated and simulated results were validated for the per...

Sediment yield mapping in a large river basin: the Upper Yangtze, China

A number of studies have mapped sediment yield at global or regional scales using sediment load measurements from rivers. However, the suitability of the limited mapping methods has not been fully addressed, particularly for large river basins where the sediment load data were obtained from a hierarchical river network. This study examines some of the issues related to the mapping approaches us...

ANN-based sediment yield models for Vamsadhara river basin (India)

Most universally accepted feed-forward error back-propagation artificial neural network models, supported by batchand pattern-learning, daily, weekly, ten-daily and monthly sediment yield were developed for the Vamsadhara River basin of India. The fast gradient descent optimisation technique improved with variable learning rate (α) and momentum term (β) was used for optimisation. In the process...
